FAQ: Does it cost anything to donate?

There is never a fee to the donor or donor family for donation; it costs absolutely nothing to donate.

All costs are ultimately paid by the recipient (or more accuratlely the recipient's insurance company).

In fact, in the State of Wisconsin, the organ, tissue and eye banks even reimburse funeral directors for any added costs incurred as a result of the donation.
